About 6 years ago Ivan & Sophia Wang decided that there was an opportunity to introduce higher quality pet foods to the Taiwanese pet food market.    So like many young and passionate entrepreneurs they set about finding some higher quality products to import.    Their decision to find better quality products was based on the need to feed their own dogs better nutrition.

At first they started operating from home and then their garage and the business has just grown and grown as more and more consumers became interested in their superior product offering.    About 4 years ago they opened their own retail store selling a selected range of high quality pet foods and accessories.    And more recently they started as ZiwiPeak's exclusive Importer and Distributor for the Taiwanese market.

Today SofyDOG has a world class retail store

Nigel Woodd from ZiwiPeak was recently in Taiwan and visited a number of pet stores with Ivan & Sophia in Taipei.    "These are very good quality stores and they love ZiwiPeak and its unique quality positioning.    Sales are growing very strongly to everyone's benefit" said Nigel. On this visit Nigel also undertook a sales training conference with some of SofyDog's customers. with beautifully presented products and a team who is passionate about pet nutrition.    Ivan & Sophia have also developed a very successful and focused Distribution network selling ZiwiPeak to other pet stores and vets in Taiwan as well as online sales. Their distribution business is growing strongly.
