Meet The Team

• Peter & Kim Mitchell

  Founders
  
  Peter & Kimberly Mitchell are the founders of the company and the unique product that is “ZiwiPeak”. Having developed the product and key production techniques in New Zealand, they are now based at ZiwiPeak USA Inc in Carmel, California and head up our USA team which services the biggest pet food market in the world. Peter & Kim stay in close touch with distributors, retailers and customers and are always available to help new people understand all the benefits of ZiwiPeak.

• Coco & Chanel

  Pet Relations Dept.
  
  Coco & Chanel are a mother and daughter team raised lovingly by the Mitchells and fed on ZiwiPeak and meaty bones, plus they get lots of water and exercise. They are a great example of how good ZiwiPeak is for health, energy and shiny coats. They also operate a Facebook page (assisted by Kim) and keep in regular contact with their many friends and admirers in the USA and beyond. They love going to trade shows with their “dress-up” bling collars and love all the attention and fuss they receive.
  

• Geoff Morgan

  Chief Executive
  
  Geoff has been involved in New Zealand Export and food companies for over 30 years, and leads the team in New Zealand. "Our two cats love ZiwiPeak; Noddles (left) prefers the dry cuisine, and Tigger (right) prefers the moist cans."

• Nigel Woodd

  Director
  
  Nigel joined the ZiwiPeak Team in June 2007 following an extensive role in senior management in the FMCG industry. He is responsible for the development of ZiwiPeak into all markets outside of North America.

• John Porter

  Operations Manager
  
  John is responsible for the management of all procurement and production of our products.
  
  John has owned dogs all his life and now has a Black Labrador and a Terrier Cross puppy.
  
  

• Peter Renouf

  Financial Controller
  
  Peter is in charge of all administration and financial activity at ZiwiPeak. Peter loves the outdoors and is always running or kayaking around the beautiful Mount Maunganui beaches. At home he has two very relaxed cats who love our moist range of canned food.

• Annette Claxton

  Accounts Administrator
  
  Annette joined ZiwiPeak in 2006 and is the key person for receiving orders from our US Distributors. She is also responsible for invoicing to all of our international markets, as well as other accounting functions in the New Zealand office. Max (pictured) is Annette's ZiwiPeak boy and has been coming to the office since he was 8 weeks old.

• Liz Robinson

  Administrator
  
  Liz is our general Administrator / Coordinator / PA and deals with everything from Payroll, Marketing, Inventory and Website Development, to organising sponsorship, newsletters, Christmas Parties and any projects no-one else wants to do!
  
  
  

• Steve Gibb

  Technical Manager
  
  Steve has been in the Pet Food Industry for over 20 years and is responsible for all Technical, QA and Compliance matters.
  
  Steve shares a lifestyle block with his two energetic dogs - Bowen and Pharaoh, who both love ZiwiPeak.

• Jarad Aubertin

  Factory Manager
  
  Jarad is responsible for the day to day running of the factory and has been with the company since 2002. Jarad’s Amstaff Stella has been on ZiwiPeak since she was 8 weeks old and it shows. She is always full of energy and goes crazy chasing her ball on the beach.

• Karen Patterson

  Export Administrator
  
  Karen has been with ZiwiPeak Ltd since May 2006 but has been involved with the Pet Food Industry in a variety of roles since 2002.
  
  She is in charge of all logistics, including documentation and certification, and makes sure ZiwiPeak gets to all our customers in over 20 countries world-wide.
