Gentle Air-Dried Processing
The ZiwiPeak  pet food manufacturing process is unique.

ZiwiPeak  pet food products are manufactured to the highest international quality benchmarks by ZiwiPeak Limited in a controlled, sophisticated plant. Products meet to stringent NZFSA and AAFCO approved standards.[B16]

The gentle air-drying process delivers a high quality ‘dry’ food product, whilst maintaining the nutritional integrity of the natural raw materials.

It is a sterile and safe method under controlled conditions. The dehydration process provides for exactly the right level of moisture removal to make the product shelf-stable, without altering its state or disrupting its nutritional value.

Retort Cooking
To cater for owners who prefer to give their favourite animals a moist food, our ZiwiPeak pet food  ‘Cuisine’ pet-foods are also available in convenient easy-tab cans.

Each ZiwiPeak ‘Cuisine’ can is retort-cooked in its own sterile container to preserve the nutritional integrity of the raw ingredients. Canned ZiwiPeak ‘Cuisine’ contains flaxseed oil which is an excellent source of the Omega-3 fatty acids essential for optimal health and, in particular, the promotion of a shiny coat and healthy skin.
